The Mac community is great -- nowhere else will you find people so willing to just lend a hand to help with your technical issues. This sense of community is one of the biggest reasons I am a Mac guy, and now that I have risen in the ranks of the Mac community, nothing makes me happier than to donate my time and some Internet space to give back to the Mac community. I give my time and effort because I think the Macintosh is truly a great platform -- no other platform is transparent enough to not only make you more productive, but also allow you to be more expressive and creative because the technology does not get in your way. That is the goal anyway, and I spend every day trying to achieve that goal.
